Designer, Engineer, and Systems Builder

2018 to Now

  1. Northwestern University

B.S., Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences

    2022 to 2026, Evanston, IL

I studied how organizations run and how to make them run better. The engineering side taught me to model systems with optimization, probability, statistics, simulation and machine learning, and the management side covered operations, supply chains, organizational behavior, economics and finance.

  2. Whitney M. Young Magnet High School

    Student

    2018 to 2022, Chicago, IL

  3. Chicago Advocate Legal

    Finance and Operations Manager

    2019 to Now, Chicago, IL

I run the finance side of a nonprofit law firm, from pricing and billing to collections, payroll and reporting, on systems I built. I started here as a legal intern and clerk.

  4. MAX Solutions

    Supply Chain Intern

    Summer 2025, Pickering, Ontario

I built the purchasing and inventory tools for a packaging plant and the algorithm that decides when and how much to reorder, following a forecasting and simulation capstone I did for the company.

  5. Office Haratori

    Architecture Intern

    Summer 2024, Zürich, Switzerland

I built the optimization model that helped recover Schönau Nord, a housing project that was failing financially, and did work on a restoration project to turn a former factory building into a restaurant and café.

  6. Cunningham Lopez LLP

    Legal Intern

Summers 2019 and 2020, Chicago, IL

I automated the firm’s client intake and supported attorneys on immigration, estate and civil litigation cases.

Finance and Operations

I work on finance and operations: billing and collections at a nonprofit law firm, and inventory planning at a manufacturer, mostly on tools I built myself.

Dynamic Environment Design

Geometry Dash levels are environments where every object’s motion, color, and light is synced and designed around music. I have been building in its editor since middle school, and it was a clear path for me into architecture. It taught me principles of construction, placement, spacing and color, and gave me a passion for design beyond the game, in art and architecture, that brought me to Office Haratori and my architecture classes.

Architecture and Design

As an architecture intern at Office Haratori in Zürich in 2024, I built a parametric optimization model for Schönau Nord, a housing development of 25 units in Wetzikon. It fit more sellable space and units inside a stepped height envelope and helped recover a project that was failing financially. I also did work on a restoration project to turn the former factory building into a restaurant and café: the ArchiCAD model, a physical model and renders, including the structural replacement and reinforcement.

Game and Environment Design

Artifactory is a factory‑building collectible game where players design assembly lines that pull one‑of‑a‑kind artifacts out of the void, each rolled with their own rarities and modifiers, to collect, craft with, and trade.

Residential Design

Design Studio, Fall 2025

A two-story house in concrete and glass, inspired by Tadao Ando. You enter through a courtyard at the front, and a double-height living room opens through a wall of glass onto the terrace.

About

I’m a builder, designer, and optimizer. I adapt quickly, and I love taking on new problems and designing the systems that solve them.

I was born in Chicago to two architects and grew up between Chicago and Kraków/Katowice in Poland. I speak Polish fluently, and as a Polish citizen I am authorized to work anywhere in the EU. I am half Taiwanese, where I spent a summer, and I speak Mandarin at an intermediate level.
